Epoxy Zenith is our highest solids, industrial grade floor epoxy that was developed specifically for commercial, residential and industrial applications. It is designed to withstand high traffic and heavy use and will leave your surface with an extremely durable, attractive and professional looking finish. Epoxy Zenith is more than just a paint, its unique synthesis of high quality raw materials combined with an advanced resin technology produce an unequaled performance, even in the harshest environments. It can be used on bare concrete, steel, masonry and wood as well as on surfaces that have been previously painted before. It offers maximum protection against chemicals, oils, grease, corrosion, chipping and fading. At 93% solids Epoxy Zenith does not require the use of a primer before applying it. This is a self priming material that is easy to use. Because of its high solids, along with the quality of ingredients used in its formulation, it creates an incredibly durable bond, yet also has enough flexibility to expand and contract in extreme weather and moisture conditions. It is perfect for hot and cold climates because it does not crack in the cold or bubble in high heat. And with a number of colors to choose from, the result is an attractive, enduring finish that will prolong the life of your surface for many years to come.

COVERAGE: Coverage is approximately 400 square feet per 2 gallon kit. 2 full coats are strongly recommended for maximum performance and product life. Material losses during mixing and application will vary and must be taken into consideration. Expect less coverage on rough or porous surfaces.
To figure out the amount of epoxy you will require: Length x Width of Surface = Square Footage x 2 (2 coats) divided by 400 Square Feet = number of Kits needed. (remember that this product is sold in a 2 Gallon Kit)
SUGGESTED USES: Manufacturing Facilities, Industrial Plants, Warehouses, Auto Shops, Driveways, Garage Floors, Basements or anywhere a high end industrial coating is needed.
LIMITATIONS: Do not apply if material, substrate or ambient temperature is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
FINISH: Gloss. For a more slip resistant finish on areas such as outdoor steps or ramps, Silica Sand can be broadcast on top of the coating during application to achieve the desired texture.
SOLIDS BY WEIGHT: 93%.
RECOMMENDED DRY FILM: 22-24 mils. (2 coats are required to achieve recommended thickness).
WEIGHT PER GALLON: 12 Lbs. per gallon
AVERAGE DRY TIME: Dries to the touch in 12 hours. Second coat can be applied after 24 hours with no sanding required. Very low temperatures & higher humidity will slow down dry times.
RECOMMENDED REDUCER: If desired, 6-8 ounces of Xylene can be added to each 2 gallon mixture for easier rollout performance. *Only if necessary
RESISTANCE TO: Chemicals, abrasion, oils, grease, rust, corrosion, mildew and chipping.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Concrete surfaces must first be cleaned using a solution of 50% muriatic acid mixed with 50% water. After surface has been rinsed, follow up with a mixture of TSP powder (Tri-Sodium Phosphate) and water. Rinse the area thoroughly and allow the surface to dry for at least 24 hours.
Note: If you are coating steel or wood then skip the first step and clean the area thoroughly with TSP and water. Then rinse the surface and allow it to dry for at least 24 hours.
APPLICATION: Brush, Spray or Roller. Recommended application is roll on method.
ROLLERS: 1/2" nap mohair, lambskin or phenolic roller. Keep roller wet. Roll in one direction, re-wet, then cross roll.
After applying the first coat wait a minimum of 24 hours before applying the second coat. 2 coats are strongly recommended for optimal product performance, durability and lifespan.
SPRAY: Conventional air gravity feed 59-70 PSI, Tip size .055-.070, Airless 2200-2500 PSI, Tip size .013-.017. Product can be reduced with 6-8 ounces of Xylene per two gallon kit for assisted roll out or spray performance.
POT LIFE: 3 hours per each 2 gallon mixture.
SHELF LIFE: 12 months
MIXING: Mix both PART A & PART B individually for at least 5 minutes each, either mechanically or by hand, and then mix the combined volumes (1:1 Mix Ratio) for at least 5 minutes. Allow the mixed solution to rest for a maximum of 5-7 minutes and then begin using. Mix only what you expect to use in a 2-3 hour period.
CLEAN UP: Xylene for equipment.
Epoxy Zenith is a self priming, 2 Part Epoxy Coating that is designed for application on concrete, steel, wood and masonry. Formulated specifically as a heavy duty protective and decorative coating designed to withstand severe exposure to weather, chemicals and heavy traffic. Special solvents are added to provide further protection against rust, rotting, corrosion, mildew and chipping and fading.
