Apogee is a premium one-part acrylic water-based paint designed as an effective weapon against weathering that is easy to apply and clean up. Get the longest lasting protection against fading on painted or unpainted wood and concrete surfaces.
Apogee is more than a paint -- it's closer to being a coating! That's because it penetrates wood or concrete to provide a cooler, slip-resistant surface. Also, it is resistant to peeling and chipping for years. Dries quickly, is durable, and resists fading either by chemicals and/or abrasion. Cleans up with soap and water. Designed for maximum protection against algae, UV rays and chlorine.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Concrete surfaces must be cleaned using a solution of 50% muriatic acid mixed with 50% water. After surface has been rinsed,
follow up with a mixture of TSP powder (Tri Sodium Phosphate) and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow surface to dry for 24 hours.
NOTE: If you are coating steel or wood then skip the first step and only clean the area thoroughly with TSP and water and allow to dry for 24 Hours. Glossy or porous surfaces can be sanded using 80 grit sand paper for proper adhesion.
SUGGESTED USES: Painted or unpainted wood or concrete surfaces.

VISCOSITY AT 75°F (24°C): 70-80 KU AVERAGE DRY TIME 75°F: Dries to touch in 6 Hours. Second coat be applied within 12-24 hours. Allow 2 days for complete cure before putting back in service.

RECOMMENDED PRIMERS: Self Priming
APPLICATION: Brush, Spray or Roller (preferred) Roll: 3/8” nap mohair or lambskin roller. Keep roller wet. Roll in one direction, re-wet, then cross roll.
Spray: Conventional Air 50 -70 psi, Tip Size .055 -.070, Airless 2200- 2500 psi, Tip Size .019-.023.
POT LIFE: Not Applicable
LIMITATIONS: Do not apply if material, substrate or ambient temperature is below 40°F or above 95°F.
SHELF LIFE: Minimum 12 months
MIXING: Thoroughly mix the paint for 10 minutes, apply as it comes from the container.
