Platinum Plus - 2 Part Epoxy Pool Paint
Platinum Plus is our high quality, industrial grade 2-part epoxy pool paint.
Our Platinum Plus features a much higher solids by weight content than most other pool paints on the market today. It can be applied over most types of existing pool paints including acrylics, epoxy and rubber based coatings. It provides a beautiful finish that is easy to clean, very durable, and provides great protection against chalking, chlorine, automatic pool cleaning machines, algae & fading. It also offers a cost effective alternative to having to re-plaster your pool. Step up today and use the product that professionals trust!
Coverage is approximately 400 sq. ft. per 2 gallon kit. Two (2) coats are strongly recommended for proper application - No primer needed - this is a self priming epoxy pool paint

Now is the time to take a step up and use an industrial grade coating on your pool that is built to last!
SURFACE PREPARATION: Power wash or hose the surface to remove all loose paint, dirt, oils, suntan lotions and grease. Clean the pool with a mixture of Tri-Sodium Phosphate (TSP) and water, scrubbing the area thoroughly. Then etch with a solution of 50% muriatic acid and 50% water. Then clean the area again with TSP & flush with plenty of fresh water. Allow the surface to dry for at least 24 Hours. Glossy surfaces can be power sanded using 80 grit sandpaper if desired. After applying the 1st coat, allow it to dry for a minimum of 24 hours, then apply the 2nd coat and wait 5 days to refill the pool with water. If it should rain, add 1 extra day of curing time for every day of rain. That's it! You're done!!
VEHICLE TYPE: Epoxy Resin
SOLIDS BY WEIGHT: 90%
WEIGHT PER GALLON: 12 lbs. per gallon (varies by color)
RECOMMENDED DRY FILM: 20-22 mils (With Two Coats)
COVERAGE: Approximately 400 sq. ft. per 2 gallon kit. Less coverage will occur on bare, rough, or sandblasted surfaces. Be sure to calculate this into your projected quantities needed to paint your pool surface before starting.
VISCOSITY AT 75°F (24°C): 120-140 KU (mixed). If you wish to thin the product for easier rollout performance, use 6-8 ounces of Xylene per 2 Gallon Kit. *Only if necessary.
AVERAGE DRY TIME: Dries to the touch in 12 hours. Lower temperatures & higher humidity will slow down drying times. Second coat can be applied with no sanding required after 24 hours. If it rains at any time during application, add 1 extra day of drying time for each day of rain.
