Pool Deck Plus is our premium, advanced acrylic, pool deck coating, designed for concrete and wood surfaces. Developed with both ease of application and durability in mind, it combines a unique blend of UV and chemical resistant properties with fast drying accelerators. Pool Deck Plus provides long lasting protection against fading and is also a self priming paint, making it the ideal coating for use on all types of pool decks as well as indoor and outdoor patios.
Pool Deck Plus is more than a paint -- it's a coating! That's because it penetrates wood or concrete to provide a cooler, slip-resistant surface. It is also highly resistant to peeling and chipping. The coating dries quickly, is very durable, and is easy to keep clean. Designed for maximum protection against algae, UV rays and chlorine.
Approximate coverage is 300 square feet per gallon; 2 coats needed for proper application - There is no primer needed - Our pool deck paint is self-priming! To figure out the amount of paint you will require: Length of Deck x Width of Deck = square footage x 2 (2 coats) divided by 300 square feet = gallons needed

SURFACE PREPARATION: Power wash or hose the pool deck surface to remove all loose paint, dirt, oils, suntan lotions and grease. Surface must then be cleaned with a mixture of Tri-Sodium Phosphate (TSP) and water, scrubbing the entire surface using a bristle brush or broom. Then rinse with plenty of fresh water and allow the area to thoroughly dry for at least 24 Hours. Glossy surfaces can be power sanded using 80 grit sandpaper if desired. After applying the first coat, second coat can be applied within 8 hours. Allow the surface to dry for a minimum of 24 hours after the application to ensure the substrate is fully cured.
SUGGESTED USES: Painted or unpainted wood or concrete surfaces.
FINISH: Matte. For a more slip resistant finish on areas such as outdoor decks, steps or ramps, Silica Sand can be broadcast on top of the coating during application to achieve the desired texture.

VISCOSITY AT 75°F (24°C): 70-80 KU AVERAGE DRY TIME 75°F: The second coat can be applied after allowing the first coat a minimum of 8 hours of drying time. Wait at least 24 hours after applying the second coat to allow for a complete cure. Note: High heat and humidity can slow drying times.

RESISTANCE TO: Chlorine, Alkali, Algae, Mineral Oils, Fresh and Salt Water
RECOMMENDED PRIMERS: Self Priming
APPLICATION: Brush, Spray or Roller (preferred) Roller: 3/8” nap mohair, lambskin or phenolic roller. Keep roller wet. Roll in one direction, re-wet, then cross roll.
Spray: Conventional Air 50 -70 psi, Tip Size .055 -.070, Airless 2200- 2500 psi, Tip Size .019-.023.
POT LIFE: Not applicable
LIMITATIONS: Do not apply if material, substrate or ambient temperature is below 40°F or above 95°F.
SHELF LIFE: Minimum 24 months
MIXING: Mix the paint either mechanically or by hand for 10 minutes, apply as it comes from the container.
